It was the era of the pandemic, where everybody was forced to be enclosed at their homes. Out of boredom and the urge to do something other than sleeping for hours or endless gaming, came the idea of creating and putting to use years of technical knowledge, love for diy art and graphic design.
Making Candleholders
From lessons I took years ago about making stained glass mosaics, there were lots of small pieces of various coloured glass left, so I tried to make my first candleholder. The outcome was really fantastic and decided to make more!
Bottlelamp Project
But it wasn’t enough, I had to do something else too! So from an empty Jack Daniels Bottle, which I kept for no particular reason, tried to make a lamp out of it! Thanks to my father – R.I.P. – who was an electrician, I had access to electical components, of course my experience and knowledge about using them, came handy and my first bottlelamp came to life! It was so exciting to make it and the final outcome was a beautifull lamp that still decorates my office.
About T -shirts and more
My love about T-shirts and designing my own was put to use too. Since I was in the job for many years and already had dozens of designs (used to own a custom made T-shirt store) it came almost natural to design and print my favorite T-shirts.
Of course to make it all true, some knowledge of using computers was a basic feature. So, I took some more lessons about prossecing images and designs and also some lessons about making an online working site, and here I am making my first ever site Deth.art_crafts.
Here you will find my creations with stained glass, bottlelamps, my T-shirt collection, some more art I created with the help of AI and some of my own, photography from various places i have visited, and a blog I created with articles about all the beautifull dark and obscure things in human art and history!
