Black Metal project from Thessaloniki.
Athanatos started as an atmospheric one man black metal project from Thessaloniki. Formed during winter 2023 they have released 2 EPs, with the debut album being in the making and the single “Ancient northern metal attack” to be released on November 1st.
Their sound is characterized by a raw and atmospheric feel, which, combined with ambient parts makes the music more authentic. While reminiscent of black metal’s early steps, both ep’s feature melodic passages which emphasize the lyrics fueled by misanthropy, greek pagan tradition and mythology, and the struggles of war in ancient times
